“I really like writing micro fiction. When I first submitted Grateful Black Denim to Flash Fiction Magazine, an assistant editor told me that it was too short for their publishing guidelines. But then the next day the managing editor e-mailed me and said that he had overruled the assistant editor and wanted to publish it, as short as it was.”
